About Massillon, OH - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Stark County, Massillon, Ohio is a city with approximately 32,200 residents. This city is the 44th largest in the state by population. It is located about 8 miles west of Canton and 20 miles south of Akron. Massillon is made up of a variety of residential neighborhoods, some of which include Amherst Heights, Clearview, Greenwood Acres, and Mayflower Village. This city’s history was focused on large steel plants, and while these days are over, there are several prominent businesses found in Massillon, including Affinity Medical Center, Campbell Oil, Ameri Cold Logistics, and Midwestern Industries.

Whether you are visiting Massillon or live in this city, there is something for everyone in terms of attractions and recreation. The Massillon Museum was established in the 1930s as a way to preserve the rich history of his city, and one of the most interesting collections is the Immel Circus exhibit. The Lions Lincoln Theatre is also located here, and this landmark movie theatre was created in 1915. Other notable attractions in the community include the Ohio Military Museum, the Legends of Massillon Golf Course, and outdoor recreational areas like the Sippo Valley Bike and Hike Trail and the Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath Trail.

Heating and cooling systems are vital for a comfortable life in Massillon, as the community will experience vastly different weather conditions for each season. The fall months tend to be comfortable and dry but will lead into a cold and often snowy winter. Average high temperatures reach about 33 degrees in January, while lows will be much colder. A heat pump or furnace will keep residents comfortable while also protecting their biggest investments – their homes.

The spring months tend to be warm and offer a quick transition into a hot summer. Weather conditions are often hot and humid throughout this time, and high temperatures can easily reach the 80s or 90s. Trying to get through the summer without an energy-efficient air conditioning system can be extremely uncomfortable, and for the elderly and people battling chronic medical conditions, it could even be dangerous.
