About Greentown, OH - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in Stark County, OH, Greentown is a census-designated place with approximately 3,200 residents. It is found within the Canton-Massillon Metro Statistical Area. This community consists of 2.7 square miles of total area, all of which is land. Greentown is found within the North Canton School District, and Greentown Elementary School is found in this community.

Greentown is a small community, so there are very few actual attractions located within the limits. However, notable destinations include the First Row Centre for the Arts and the Greentown Barber Shop. Outdoor recreation is also available at the Greentown Community Park.

Fortunately, Greentown is a quick drive away from other notable attractions in the region. Nearby North Canton is home to the MAPS Air Museum and Sanctuary Golf Club. There are a variety of great shopping locations found in nearby Hartville, including the Hartville Marketplace and Flea Market and Maize Valley Market and Winery. Akron is also quite close, and visitors often enjoy checking out the Akron Art Museum and the Akron Zoo.

Greentown residents will need to invest in climate control systems to keep their home interior space comfortable throughout the year. During the summer, high temperatures into the 90s are common, as are severe weather patterns with dangerous thunderstorms. Not only will a central air conditioning unit keep interior temperatures comfortable during this time, but they can also improve indoor air quality while keeping utility bills affordable.

Winters in Greentown are cold, and the area will typically see about 48 inches of snow per season. Average high temperatures in January, which is the coldest month of the year, just barely exceed the freezing point. When freezing temperatures combine with precipitation, conditions both indoors and outdoors can be dangerous. A heat pump or furnace will keep interior temperatures comfortable while preventing pipes from freezing.
