North Canton is a Stark County city with approximately 17,500 residents. The community first began as the Village of Berlin in 1831, and today it consists of approximately 6.4 square miles of total area, all of which is land. North Canton City Schools serves most students in the community, with older students attending North Canton Hoover High School. Higher education is also available in this community at Walsh University, a private, Catholic institution with enrollment of 2,500 students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees.

There are several interesting things to see and do when visiting North Canton. Typical of the Midwest, North Canton is known for its humid continental climate. Summers tend to be very humid and warm, following a short spring with a rapid transition into the hotter weather. Average temperatures in July reach the lower 80s, but highs reaching the 90s and severe thunderstorms are also common during the season. Central air conditioning can be a big game changer when it comes to staying comfortable throughout the season.

Winters in North Canton tend to be cold, and average high temperatures in January will just barely reach the freezing g point. While snowfall tends to be lighter than other areas of the Snow Belt, the area still receives about 47 inches per season.
