Whether you’ll be traveling through Uniontown or are considering a move to the area, it is important that you know what to expect in terms of weather. Winters are cold and snowy, although with only about 48 inches of snow each year, the area does tend to get less precipitation than the rest of the Snow Belt. Residents will utilize their heat pump or furnace religiously throughout the season before switching it off to turn on the central air conditioning during the summer. The summer months are hot and humid, and since high temperatures can reach the 90s, a good home cooling system is a necessity.
